Bilgiler
Carving out a distinctive place for herself in the world of alternative music with her dark, emotional, and evocative sound, A.A. Williams is set to take the stage at Blind on March 7. Following the release of her self-titled debut EP, she made a powerful live debut at the prestigious Roadburn Festival, marking the beginning of a compelling performance career. Since then, she has toured internationally with major acts such as Cult of Luna, Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token, and The Sisters of Mercy. A.A. Williams has also made her mark with her own headline shows, including a standout performance at London’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Her albums Forever Blue (2020) and As The Moon Rests (2022) garnered widespread critical acclaim, reinforcing both her musical vision and the emotional depth of her storytelling. A special BBC session at the legendary Maida Vale Studios further demonstrated her commanding stage presence.
A.A. Williams stands out not only with her studio albums but also through her creative range and bold musical choices. Her collaborative single Exit In Darkness with Japanese post-rock giants MONO, her solo cover album Songs From Isolation recorded during the pandemic, and arco — a reimagining of her debut EP with string arrangements that reflect her classical music background — all showcase her versatility as a musician and arranger. These works have drawn praise from music legends like Robert Smith of The Cure and Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins.
Blending introspective darkness with post-rock and classical elegance, A.A. Williams’ performance at Blind promises to be one of the year’s most exceptional concert experiences.
