One of the strongest and most politically charged voices of the post-punk scene, DEADLETTER takes the stage at Blind on April 19, with the support of %100 Music!
Hailing from Yorkshire and based in South London, this six-piece band blends the sharp fury of The Fall with the erratic rhythms of LCD Soundsystem, embedding dark themes within danceable energy. The instinctive chemistry among its members—friends since birth—adds a unique dynamism and movement to their sound.
So Young Magazine describes them as “one of the most exciting bands in London,” while Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music) points to DEADLETTER as the answer to his question: “Why don’t young bands write about politics anymore?”

Having supported artists such as Squid, Viagra Boys, and Pip Blom, DEADLETTER are known for their mastery in controlling intensity on stage. Their performances move fluidly from spoken-word passages to explosive post-punk rage and unstoppable rhythms. Their songs tackle themes such as bureaucracy, identity loss, and modern consumer culture.
Released under Nice Swan Records, their single “Pop Culture Connoisseur” showcases the band’s sharp observations and ironic humor. Praised by The Guardian, DIY, Loud and Quiet, So Young, Upset Magazine, and Gigwise, DEADLETTER stands out as one of the most authentic post-punk acts of the new generation—with their striking lyrics, razor-sharp rhythms, and dark energy.
On April 19, Blind will host the Istanbul stop of this one-of-a-kind energy.
