The ((Sound Room)) legend and resident Tomoki Tamura returns on March 14th.

A DJ and producer from Osaka, Japan, Tamura draws inspiration from the Black-origin house music that emerged from the United States. He began his career playing in Osaka’s major clubs before moving to London in 2004, where he launched his own event series, Holic. His exceptional mixing skills have earned him sets at world-renowned venues such as The End/AKA, Fabric, and Ministry of Sound.

In 2012, he founded his record label Holic Trax, which became a cornerstone of the UK underground scene. To celebrate its 5th anniversary, the label released three EPs featuring Satoshi Tomiie, Mr G, and Tuccillo. Tamura also teamed up with Tuccillo to form the duo Doublet, whose releases “101” and “202” sold out immediately and gained major recognition.

With over 40 releases across sub-labels like Boothoic, Monoklo, and Tom Tam Club, Tamura continues to push creative boundaries. Now based in Berlin, his passion for music connects with dance floors worldwide. Beyond the club, his sets explore deeper sounds — weaving jazz, ambient, and downtempo influences into a unique listening journey.
